Glad to report that I had no hospital visits early this morning.

Jannie has been doing rather well after the chemo therapy. She has had minimal discomfort, not the usual serious nausea sometimes reported with chemo. Her appetite is down, feels a little "flushed" at times, and doesn't sleep quite as well as normal, but considering the usual reports, these are minor indeed.

The evacuation alert is still in effect. The fire is now listed at 1,600 hectares. Another fire is reported to the southwest of Salmon Arm, so with the combined smoke from two fires, the air quality is not good. We stay inside a lot, with an air filtering machine running. It isn't bad inside, but outside, visibility is probably less than a mile.
