Getting back to Writing

My last blog entry was in February. It was a long time ago. So was the siege of cancer treatments. Like siege warfare, there isn't much news to write. Just the same old battle plan, of travel, treatments, and fatigue. So, fatigued as I was, I didn't write. I don't blame anybody if they gave up on reading this blog. On the other hand, there was nothing I could do about it. Cancer is an inconvenient disease.

Jannie is finished with her chemo and radiation treatments. She is still in a treatment plan, but it doesn't involve travel, so we are getting back to picking up the pieces of our lives and trying to move ahead. Time will tell if God has chosen to defeat the disease.

Ministry continues to grow. God's Spirit continues to draw those He is calling. He chooses to use weak vessels, like jars of clay, to carry this priceless message to the world.

All glory to Him.

We are glad you are back and are praying for Jannie! Pass along hugs to her!

I was just talking to someone about our honeymoon to Canada and how we met these awesome people at the place we were staying. They thought it was a cool story. We do too!

Hi Howard,

Like any good battle there are many of us on the home shore supporting you and Jannie in many different ways and we are always eager to hear news from the front line. We understand that sometimes the battle is intense and things like writing in your blog take a back seat so thanks for writing when you can.

Praying for renewed strength,

Rick
